Privacy Notice

This notice explains what information The Purpose Profile collects, how it is used, who may access it, and how you can contact us with questions or requests.

The Purpose Profile is operated by The Purpose Pad. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your assessment responses or report content for advertising. Information you provide is used to operate the platform, generate your results and reports, and support your participation in school or program contexts where applicable.

When you create an account and use The Purpose Profile, we may collect the following categories of information.

Account information. Your name and email address, and the credentials you use to sign in.

Assessment responses. The answers you provide when completing the Purpose Profile assessment. These responses are used to generate your archetype result and Foundation Report.

Results and report data. Your archetype assignment, strand combination, and the content of your Foundation Report. If you have Education access through a participating school or program, your Education Report is also included.

School and program participation data. If you participate through a school or program, your account may be associated with that school, cohort, program, advisor assignment, or access entitlement. This association is used to support your participation and enable authorized staff access where applicable.

Advisor and administrator access data. Where your school or program has provisioned authorized advisors or administrators, certain information connected to your account may be accessible to those staff members for advising and program support purposes.

Contact and inquiry data. If you submit a message through our contact form, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, organization if you choose to include it, inquiry type, and message.

Payment data. Payments for paid access through The Purpose Profile are processed through Stripe. The Purpose Pad does not directly store your full payment card number. Stripe handles payment card data according to Stripe's privacy policy and applicable terms.

Email and file-related data. The Purpose Pad uses Google Workspace for business email and file storage. Information you send us by email is handled through Google Workspace in accordance with Google's applicable terms and policies.

The responses you provide in the Purpose Profile assessment are used to generate your archetype result and reports. They are not used for advertising. They are not shared publicly.

Your results are available inside your account. Where you are part of a school or program, authorized advisors and administrators within that program may have access to limited information about your results, as described in the advisor and administrator access section below.

If you access The Purpose Profile through a school or program, your account may be associated with that school, cohort, program, advisor, or access entitlement. This association is used to determine which authorized staff members can support you, to apply Education access where your program includes it, and to enable program administration.

Your school or program participation does not prevent you from accessing your own account and reports.

Schools and programs that deploy The Purpose Profile through an institutional arrangement may provision authorized advisors and administrators. Their access is governed and school-scoped.

Access for advisors and administrators may include completion status, results summaries, report availability, cohort or program assignment, and information needed to support advising and program administration. Advisors and administrators can access only information about students within their own school or program. They cannot access information from other schools or programs.

Advisor and administrator roles are not self-assigned. They are granted through a provisioning process tied to the relevant school or program.

Authorized advisors and administrators in participating school programs may have access to archetype-specific faculty and advisor guides. These are staff-facing support documents designed to help advisors support students more specifically. They are not publicly accessible. They are available only to users with a provisioned advisor or administrator role in a participating program.

When you contact us through our inquiry form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, organization if included, inquiry type, and message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry.

We do not currently use a customer relationship management system. We do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.

Payments for paid access through The Purpose Profile are processed through Stripe. The Purpose Pad does not directly store your full payment card number. Please review Stripe's privacy policy for information on how Stripe handles payment data for card transactions.

The Purpose Profile may use essential cookies or similar technologies to support account authentication and platform functionality.

We do not use behavioral analytics tools. We do not use privacy-light analytics tools. If analytics tools are added in the future, this notice will be updated to reflect that.

The Purpose Pad works with service providers to operate the platform. Current provider categories include hosting, database, and authentication infrastructure, Google Workspace for email and file storage, and Stripe for payment processing when you purchase paid access. Service providers may access information only as needed to provide their services.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with unrelated third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of The Purpose Pad, our users, or others.

You can access the information connected to your account by signing in at any time.

To request access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at info@mypurposedna.com.

We can implement full account deletion. Deletion requests may be affected by your participation in a school or program, legal or operational obligations, backup processes, or other legitimate business needs. We will work with you to address your request.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the platform, support program participation where applicable, meet legal and operational obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and fulfill legitimate business purposes. You can request deletion at any time by contacting info@mypurposedna.com.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information connected to your account. These include authentication controls, access restrictions, and school-scoped limits on staff visibility where applicable.

No system is completely secure. You should use a strong, unique password for your account and contact us at info@mypurposedna.com if you become aware of any unauthorized access or security concern.

Public self-serve use of The Purpose Profile is intended for users 13 years of age and older. The Purpose Profile is not intended for direct self-serve use by children under 13.

Students under 13 may participate only through a school or program arrangement where the school has reviewed and authorized the use. In that context, participation is for the benefit of the student's education and not for an independent commercial purpose of The Purpose Pad.

The Purpose Pad does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through public self-serve signup. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 outside of an authorized school or program arrangement, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes may be communicated through reasonable methods, such as a notice on the platform or an email to the address on your account.
