Advisors who understand the framework have better advising conversations. Here is how to get there.
A student's Purpose Profile report is detailed and archetype-specific. Knowing how to work with it in a real advising conversation is a different skill than reading it. This training closes that gap, for your whole staff team.
The gap this training closes
When a school or program deploys the Purpose Profile, students receive detailed, archetype-specific reports. Those reports are built for advising. But a staff team that has not been trained on the framework will underuse them.
Most advisors and faculty want to work with students more specifically. The Purpose Profile gives them a framework for doing that. The Facilitator Training gives them the skills to actually use it: in a first advising appointment, in an intervention conversation, in a cohort check-in, or in a faculty mentoring session.
Without training, reports tend to stay in student accounts. With it, the reports become the basis for a different kind of advising conversation across your whole program.
What Facilitator Training includes
The Purpose Profile Facilitator Training is a 1-day workshop delivered for institutional staff teams as part of a program launch or campus adoption. It is not a standalone individual enrollment.
Training is designed for program directors, academic advisors, faculty mentors, student success coaches, athletics life-skills staff, and other staff involved in implementing the Purpose Profile within a school or program.
The training covers:
Who this training is designed for
Academic advisors and counselors within a school or program that has adopted the Purpose Profile.
Faculty mentors and instructors who hold advising or student support roles within an implementation.
Student success coaches and first-year experience staff working with a Purpose Profile cohort.
Athletics life-skills and student-athlete development staff involved in a program deployment.
Program directors and implementation leads who need to understand the full framework to manage rollout and advising quality.
If your school or program is deploying the Purpose Profile and you want your staff equipped to use it well, this training is the right next step.
How it is delivered
Purpose Profile Facilitator Training is a 1-day in-person staff workshop delivered as part of an active Purpose Profile program deployment. It is included in the Program Launch and Campus Adoption Package, and can be added when a school or institution is implementing the Purpose Profile across a cohort or program.
When a Student Direction Day or Program Launch includes a staff summary session, that session is a lighter, abbreviated version of the full training: a focused debrief that gives program staff enough grounding to support students through the immediate implementation window. The full Facilitator Training is the deeper 1-day workshop designed for ongoing implementation teams.
Training is a facilitated experience with practice built in.
Investment
Staff cohort training is included in the Program Launch and Campus Adoption Package. It can be added to an active program deployment where institutional staff need deeper training to support ongoing implementation.
